NUUWAÏ creates vegan bags from apple leather (AppleSkin), a cruelty-free, eco-friendly leather alternative made from apple waste from the juice industry. Their collection consists of must-have, essential styles that were mindfully designed to fit every moment of your life. Simple, minimal design, urban look, and quality craftsmanship are the key components that go into each and every NUUWAÏ bag. Their apple leather bags are PETA approved vegan and ethically made in a small, family-owned factory in India. For their lining they use nylon made of 100% recycled ocean plastic bottles and fishnets, as part of the ECOALF Foundation's "Upcycling the Ocean" project.
